| Resumen : | Catamayo, es un cantón que cuenta con una gran variedad de recursos y atractivos turísticos dentro de los cuales está el centro recreacional “Víctor Manuel Palacios (El Boquerón)” atractivo que cuenta con un gran potencial turístico, sin embargo, no cuenta con la accesibilidad necesaria para personas con discapacidad física, por ello se ha planteado una propuesta de turismo accesible para personas con discapacidad física para este atractivo. Teniendo como objetivo general plantear una propuesta de turismo accesible para personas con discapacidad física en el centro recreacional mencionado, sustentado en dos objetivos específicos que inician con realizar el diagnóstico de la situación actual y accesible de los elementos del centro recreacional, para ello se usó como instrumento la ficha de levantamiento y jerarquización de atractivos del Ministerio de Turismo y para cada elemento se aplicó la ficha de accesibilidad del Ministerio de Turismo. En los resultados obtenidos de la accesibilidad de los elementos del atractivo se encontró que no cuenta con las facilidades de accesibilidad para personas con discapacidad física por lo que se determina que es imperativo en mejorar la infraestructura turística para que sea considerado un atractivo accesible. En el segundo objetivo se realizó un análisis FODA y FODA cruzado del cual se obtuvo las siguientes estrategias a realizar mejorar y renovar la infraestructura turística y servicios básicos teniendo en cuenta la accesibilidad, capacitar al personal en temas de accesibilidad y manejo de turistas con discapacidad física, para brindar una mejor atención a los visitantes, mejorar la gestión administrativa, promocionar el centro recreacional, mejorar la seguridad de los visitantes y obtener una certificación de accesibilidad universal, concluyendo que al cumplir con estas propuestas el centro será reconocido como un atractivo accesible e inclusivo que atraeré la atención de los visitantes. |
| Descripción : | Catamayo is a town that has a variety of resources and attractive touristic places, one of them is the recreational center “Victor Manuel Palacios (El Boquerón)”. It has a lot of potential for tourism. However, it does not count with the necessary accessibility for physical disability people, in that way it is raised a proposal of accessible tourism for the physical disability people in this tourist place. As a general objective it is planned a proposal of accessible tourism for physical disability people in the recreational center mentioned, It is supported in two specific objectives which begin with a diagnostic of the actual situation, and it is accessible for the elements of the recreational center, it is used as an instrument in the survey sheet and hierarchy of the tourism Ministry attractive and for each element it is applied the accessibility survey sheet of the tourism Ministry. The results obtained from the accessibility of the elements of the touristic place show that it does not count with the accessible facilities for people with physical disabilities. It is determined that it is imperative for the touristic infrastructure to be considered accessible and attractive. In the second objective was carried out a FODA and crossed FODA analysis from which it was obtained the following strategies to carry out and renovate the touristic infrastructural and basic service taking into account the accessibility, train people in accessibility topics and management of tourist people with physical disability, for providing a better attention to the visitors; best the administrative management; to promote the recreational center; to ensure the security of the visitors, and obtain a certification of universal accessibility, concluding that when fulfilling with these proposes the center will be recognized as an accessible attraction and inclusive that will attract the attention of visitors. |
