| Resumen : | El proyecto denominado, OPTIMIZACIÓN DEL SISTEMA DE EXPLOTACION DEL ÁREA MINERA DE LIBRE APROVECHAMIENTO “IML LAS LÁGRIMAS – CÓDIGO 60000309”, UBICADA EN LA PARROQUIA CARIGÁN, PERTENECIENTE AL CANTÓN LOJA, PROVINCIA DE LOJA. Se realizó un marco teórico que permitió profundizar sobre el tema, que conjuntamente con el trabajo de campo y gabinete se obtuvo la información topográfica y geológica, permitiendo definir las reservas con la que cuenta la misma. Para conocer el estado actual de la concesión se realizó la descripción de los procesos y las actividades que se ejecutan actualmente, mediante registros de campo, tomando detalladamente la maquinaria y su funcionamiento. También se calculó el rendimiento de la maquinaria actual y la producción diaria de la misma, además de estudios de laboratorio que ayudaron a determinar la calidad de material que se encuentra en la minera, mismos que cumplen la normativa analizada. Para definir el sistema de explotación óptimo se analizaron tres opciones, siendo elegido el sistema de “Excavación descendente y abandono del talud final en bancos”, debido a las características que presenta la concesión como son su geología, topografía, criterios de seguridad, entre otros. Definido el sistema de explotación se procedió a describir los procesos necesarios para la extracción, buscando la optimización de estos, para lo cual se detalló la maquinaria necesaria en cada uno, su rendimiento y producción. Finalmente se realizó el cálculo económico del sistema actual y del sistema optimizado, lo cual permitió determinar que los cambios en el sistema de explotación y sus actividades mejoran la rentabilidad, dando así, una viabilidad al sistema propuesto. | Descripción : | The project called, OPTIMIZATION OF THE EXPLOITATION SYSTEM OF THE MINING AREA OF FREE EXPLOITATION "IML LAS LÁGRIMAS - CODE 60000309", LOCATED IN THE CARIGÁN PARISH, BELONGING TO THE CANTON LOJA, PROVINCE OF LOJA. A theoretical framework was made that allowed to deepen on the subject, which together with the field and cabinet work was obtained topographic and geological information, allowing to define the reserves with which it has the same. In order to know the current state of the concession, a description of the processes and activities that are currently being carried out was made, through field records, taking detailed information about the machinery and its operation. The performance of the current machinery and its daily production were also calculated, in addition to laboratory studies that helped determine the quality of the material found in the mine, which meet the standards analyzed. To define the optimal exploitation system, three options were analyzed, being chosen the system of "Downward excavation and abandonment of the final slope in benches", due to the characteristics of the concession such as its geology, topography, safety criteria, among others. Once the exploitation system was defined, we proceeded to describe the necessary processes for the extraction, looking for the optimization of these, for which we detailed the necessary machinery in each one, its performance and production. Finally, the economic calculation of the current system and the optimized system was carried out, which allowed determining that the changes in the exploitation system and its activities improve profitability, thus giving viability to the proposed system.
