| dc.description | Nowadays, in the academic context, the efficient management of research projects has become a critical factor for educational institutions. As a straight response to this need, this thesis research work focuses on implementing a web-based system designed to streamline the monitoring and control of research projects at UNL. The execution of this project was broken down into three phases. Firstly, the BPM RAD methodology was applied in order to clarify and define the current process of monitoring and control of research projects of the UNL Research Department. Through this modeling, a diagram was obtained that visually represents the state of the current process. In addition, a second diagram representing the automation of the monitoring and control of research projects (SPI) was developed. In the second phase, the XP methodology was adopted together with the Scrum Framework and the 4+1 architectural model, designated by the Department of Information Technologies of the UNL, where the complete implementation of an operative web system designed for the monitoring and control of research projects of the UNL was achieved, to later test it in a controlled environment. Finally, in the third phase, a test plan was developed where a specific set of tests were defined to be executed, evaluating both the performance and the functionality of the software. The results obtained showed that the implemented functionalities satisfactorily met the requirements established by the client. This achievement has enriched the quality of information available, improving strategic decision making, providing researchers and system managers with greater visibility of the procedures, promoting a clearer and more detailed understanding of the system. | dc.description.abstract | En el contexto académico actual, la gestión eficiente de proyectos de investigación se ha convertido en un factor crítico para las instituciones educativas. Como respuesta directa a esta necesidad, el presente Trabajo de Titulación se centra en la implementación de un sistema web diseñado para agilizar el seguimiento y control de proyectos de investigación en la UNL. El desarrollo del TT se desglosó en tres fases, en primera instancia, se aplicó la metodología BPM RAD con el propósito de clarificar y definir el proceso actual del seguimiento y control de proyectos de investigación del Departamento de Investigación de la UNL. A través de este modelado se obtuvo un diagrama que representa visualmente el estado de dicho proceso. Además, se elaboró un segundo diagrama que representa la automatización del seguimiento y control de proyectos de investigación (SPI). En segunda fase, se adoptó la metodología XP conjuntamente con el Marco de Trabajo Scrum y el modelo arquitectónico 4+1, designadas por el Departamento de Tecnologías de la Información de la UNL, donde se logró la implementación completa de un sistema web operativo diseñado para el seguimiento y control de proyectos de investigación de la UNL, para posteriormente evaluarlo en un entorno controlado. Finalmente, en la tercera fase, se desarrolló un plan de pruebas donde se definieron un conjunto específico de pruebas destinados a ejecutarse, evaluando tanto el rendimiento como la funcionalidad del software. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron que las funcionalidades implementadas cumplen satisfactoriamente con los requisitos establecidos por el cliente. Este logro ha enriquecido la calidad de información disponible, mejorando la toma de decisiones estratégicas, brindado a los investigadores y responsables del sistema una mayor visibilidad de los procedimientos, promoviendo una comprensión más clara y detallada del mismo.
