dc.descriptionEcuador has innumerable zones of great tourist interest, distributed within its four regions. It is considered as one of the 17 countries where the greatest biodiversity of the planet is concentrated, being also the largest country with biodiversity per square kilometer of the world. In addition, it boasts a large number of cultural assets preserved throughout history that contain the remnants of ancient pre-Columbian cultures. Portovelo, one of the 14 cantons of the province of El Oro which is known as the country's first mining center, has valuable natural and cultural tourism resources. Due to the cultural and natural richness of the canton of Portovelo, it was important to develop this research work, for which objectives were set and its general objective is: "To design the Cultural Touristic Route for Canton Portovelo, El Oro ", covering everything concerning to the development of research work; For the achievement of the general objective, three specific objectives were set out: "To diagnose the main cultural attractions of the Canton Portovelo of the Province of El Oro", for which the analytical method was applied, this served to carry out an in-depth analysis of the reality of each tourist attraction of the canton; As well as the synthetic method, to demonstrate the facilities and difficulties the canton has, and the inductive method, which allowed to determine the most important aspects of the population immersed in the development of the route. In addition it was applied; the Matrix of Tourist Diagnosis of Carla Ricaurte Quijano, interview and direct observation, tourist inventory cards (MINTUR), index card of hierarchy of attractions of the Ministry of Tourism, and support material obtained from the Territorial Planning Plan, which allowed the collection of political, social, economic, geographic and tourist information of the canton Portovelo. Finally it was used the Matrix SWOT, determining the current situation of the canton. The second objective was: "To elaborate the Cultural Route of the Canton Portovelo, Province of the Gold", for this it was used instruments like the system of geo reference "GPS", to make the register of each attraction that will be included in the route with specific coordinates, distances and travel times; Camera as digital support and the Matrix prepared by the Ministry of Tourism to validate tourist routes; In addition, natural and cultural pictograms were used for the design of the map. Finally, a mark was created identifying the route called "Cultural Tourism Route Valle Dorado", for which a tourist guide was set, following the order established; Third Objective: "To propose strategies for the Cultural Touristic Route of the Canton Portovelo Province of El Oro", for that the deductive method was used which allowed to establish the 5 conclusions that have been caused based on the raised problem; This was also the design of promotion and dissemination strategies for the tourist route; Within the advertising material it was established the design of a billboard, a totem, posters, brochure, T-shirts and souvenirs; the second strategy was the design of a tourist package and finally as a last strategy socialization was done, using the MARPP technique, comprised in three phases. The first phase through the presentation of the letter to Mrs. Rosita Paulina López Sigüenza, city major, requesting the date of socialization of the proposal, and its subsequent invitation; The second phase, the presentation of the results of the research work on the development of the so-called Cultural Touristic Route "Valle Dorado"; And, the third phase with the conclusions and recommendations by the attendees. As a result of the socialization it was determined that the Cultural Touristic Route "Valle Dorado", will contribute to the tourist development of the canton, since it has taken into consideration the most important natural and cultural attractions of the place. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations of the thesis work, which are mostly addressed to the Autonomous Government of the canton of Portovelo, were presented, informing the importance of training the staff involved in the tourist activity, as well as support the developmentes_ES
dc.description.abstractEl Ecuador posee innumerables zonas de gran interés turístico, distribuidas dentro de sus cuatro regiones. Es considerado como uno de los 17 países donde está concentrada la mayor biodiversidad del planeta, siendo además el mayor país con biodiversidad por km2 del mundo. Además, ostenta un gran número de bienes culturales preservados a lo largo de la historia que contienen los remanentes de antiguas culturas precolombinas. Portovelo, uno de los 14 cantones de la provincia de El Oro, conocido como el primer centro minero del país, cuenta con valiosos recursos turísticos naturales y culturales. Debido a la riqueza cultural y natural que posee el cantón Portovelo, resultó importante el desarrollo del presente trabajo de investigación, para lo cual se plantearon objetivos, enmarcando como objetivo general: “Diseñar la Ruta Turística Cultural para el Cantón Portovelo, de la Provincia de El Oro”, abarcando todo lo concerniente al desarrollo del trabajo de investigación; para el logro del mismo se plantearon tres objetivos específicos: “Diagnosticar los principales atractivos culturales del Cantón Portovelo de la Provincia de El Oro”, para lo cual se aplicó el método analítico que sirvió para realizar un análisis profundo de la realidad de cada uno de los atractivos turísticos del cantón; así también, el método sintético, para evidenciar las facilidades y dificultades que tiene el cantón, y, el método inductivo, el cual permitió determinar los aspectos más importantes de la población inmersa en el desarrollo de la ruta, además se aplicó la Matriz de Diagnostico Turístico de Carla Ricaurte Quijano, técnicas de la entrevista y la observación directa, las fichas de inventario turístico (MINTUR), fichas de jerarquización de atractivos del Ministerio de Turismo, y material de apoyo obtenido del Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial, el cual permitió la recolección de información política, social, económica, geográfica y turística del cantón Portovelo, finalmente se empleó la Matriz FODA, determinando la situación actual del cantón; como segundo objetivo se planteó: “Elaborar la Ruta Cultural del Cantón Portovelo, Provincia de El Oro”, para ellos se utilizó instrumentos como el sistema de georreferenciación “GPS”, para realizar el levantamiento de cada uno de los atractivos que serán incluidos dentro de la ruta con coordenadas específicas, distancias y tiempos de recorrido; cámara fotográfica como soporte digital y la Matriz elaborada por el Ministerio de Turismo para validar rutas turísticas; además, se emplearon pictogramas naturales y culturales para el diseño del mapa. Finalmente se creó una marca identificativa a la ruta denominada “Ruta Turística Cultural Valle Dorado”,para lo cual se estableció un guion turístico, siguiendo el orden establecido dentro de la misma; Tercer Objetivo: “Plantear estrategias para la Ruta Turística Cultural del Cantón Portovelo Provincia de Oro”, para ello se empleó el uso del método deductivo permitiendo establecer las conclusiones que se han ocasionado en base a la problemática planteada; así también se realizó el diseño de estrategias de promoción y difusión para la ruta turística; dentro del material publicitario se estableció el diseño de una valla publicitaria, un tótem, afiches, brochure, camisetas y souvenirs; como segunda estrategia se realizó el diseño de un paquete turístico y finalmente como ultima estrategia la socialización, utilizando la técnica del MARPP, comprendida en tres fases. La primera fase mediante la presentación del oficio a la Sra. Alcaldesa Rosita Paulina López Sigüenza, solicitando la fecha de socialización de la propuesta, y su posterior invitación; La segunda fase, la presentación de los resultados del trabajo investigativo sobre el desarrollo de la denominada Ruta Turística Cultural “Valle Dorado”; y, la tercera fase con las conclusiones y recomendaciones por parte de los asistentes. Como resultado de la socialización se determinó que la Ruta Turística Cultural “Valle Dorado”, aportará al desarrollo turístico del cantón, ya que en ella se han tomado a consideración los atractivos naturales y culturales más relevantes del lugar. Finalmente se plantearon las conclusiones y recomendaciones del trabajo de tesis que en su mayoría se encuentran dirigidas al Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado del cantón Portovelo, dando a conocer la importancia de capacitar al personal involucrado en la actividad turística, así como apoyar en el desarrollo de las facilidades turísticas de cada uno de los atractivos del cantón.es_ES
