| Resumen : | Este estudio de investigación acción se centró en el uso de los diálogos para mejorar la habilidad de hablar con los estudiantes de cuarto año en el Instituto Simón Bolívar. Un plan de intervención con doce sesiones se llevó a cabo para ejercitar esta destreza. Así mismo, dos pruebas y cuestionarios fueron diseñados y usados por el investigador para medir el progreso de catorce estudiantes y su apreciación a la estrategia de diálogos. Los resultados generales indican que el uso de diálogos facilitó de manera significativa al enriquecimiento de la habilidad de hablar, que se refleja en el notable incremento de las calificaciones de la prueba aplicada posteriormente y el progreso de los estudiantes durante la intervención. En conclusión, este estudio ayudó a los estudiantes a mejorar su habilidad de hablar. |
| Descripción : | This action research study was focused on the improvement of the speaking skill with the use of dialogues with fourth year students at Simon Bolivar Institute. An intervention plan with twelve sessions was carried out to enhance the speaking skill. In the same way, two tests and questionnaires were designed and used by the researcher to measure the fourteen students’ progress and a perception of dialogue strategy. The general results indicated that the use of dialogues facilitated meaningfully the improvement of speaking skill which was reflected in the noticeable increase of the posttest scores and students’ progress during the intervention. In conclusion, this study helped students to improve their speaking skill. |
