Resumen : La presente investigación hace referencia a: “LA LITERATURA INFANTIL Y SU INCIDENCIA EN EL DESARROLLO DE LA CREATIVIDAD EN LOS NIÑOS Y NIÑAS DEL PRIMER AÑO DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA “CIUDAD DE IBARRA”, DEL CANTON JOYA DE LOS SACHAS, PROVINCIA DE ORELLANA, PERÍODO 2013- 2014” El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo general: Analizar la incidencia de la utilización de la Literatura Infantil por parte de las maestras en el Desarrollo de la Creatividad de los niños y niñas del primer año de educación básica de la Unidad Educativa “Ciudad de Ibarra” del cantón Joya de los Sachas, de la provincia de Orellana. Los métodos que se utilizaron fueron: Científico, Inductivo-Deductivo, Analítico-Sintético y Descriptivo; mismos que sirvieron para organizar y desarrollar la investigación y de esta manera llegar a comprobar la importancia de la utilización de la Literatura Infantil en el desarrollo de la Creatividad. Como técnicas se utilizaron: la encuesta y la Prueba de Valoración Creativa que se aplicó a los niños, a fin de determinar cómo se opera el Desarrollo de la Creatividad. Los resultados fueron bastante significativos, toda vez que el 100% de las maestras que fueron encuestadas, en su práctica escolar diaria utilizan variedad de tipos de Literatura Infantil, tales como: cuentos populares, fábulas, rimas, adivinanzas y trabalenguas; el 50% utilizan cuentos clásicos. En lo que respecta a la aplicación de la Prueba de Valoración Creativa, el 52% de niñas y niños obtuvieron un nivel de creatividad Alta con puntuaciones de 7.5—10 y el 38% de los niños y niñas obtuvieron un nivel de creatividad Media-Alta con puntuaciones de 5—7.5, lo que permite referir un grupo con oportunidades para desplegar habilidades y talentos; el 8% de los niños y niñas obtuvo un nivel de creatividad Media-Baja con puntuaciones de 2.5—5 y el 2% de los niños y niñas obtuvo un nivel de creatividad Baja con puntuaciones de 0—2.5.
Descripción : This research project makes reference to: CHILDREN´S LITERATURE AND ITS INFLUENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVITY IN THE BOYS AND GIRLS OF THE FIRST GRADE OF BASIC EDUCATION IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL “CIUDAD DE IBARRA” OF THE CITY OF JOYA DE LOS SACHAS, IN THE 2013-2014 SCHOOL YEAR. The general objective of the research is: To analyze the influence that the teachers´ use of Children´s Literature has on the Development of Creativity in the boys and girls of First Grade of Basic Education in the Public School “Ciudad de Ibarra” of the City of Joya de los Sachas, in the 2013-2014 school year. The methods used for the selection and study of data were: Scientific, Inductive-Deductive, Analytic-Synthetic and Descriptive; these served to present the relationship and importance of the use of children´s literature to the development of creativity. The techniques used were: a questionnaire given to the teachers to establish the kinds of children´s literature that they use in their day-to-day work, and a Test to Evaluate Creativity, applied to the children to determine the development of their creativity. One hundred percent of the teachers questioned used the following types of children´s literature: popular stories, fables, rhymes, riddles and tongue twisters; 50% used classical stories, emphasizing the importance that literature for children has in the integral formation of the child, and that through stories, a fascinating activity of transformation, of enchantment, of liberation, the child is invited to develop his potential creativity, that translates into the creation of novel ideas and effective solutions to the problems that arise. In the results of the Test to Evaluate Creativity, 52% of the girls and boys obtained a high level of creativity with scores of 7.5—10, and 38% of the boys and girls obtained a Medium-High level with scores of 5—7.5, which permits them to be referred to as a group with opportunities to develop abilities and talents, with the capacity to transcend limitations and project their thoughts towards finding the solution to problems and other tasks which require their creative competence. Nevertheless, 8% of the boys and girls obtained a Medium-Low level of creativity with scores of 2.5—5, and 2% of the boys and girls obtain a Low level of creativity with scores of 0—2.5. It is necessary to state that creativity can be perfected and the creative process develops when there is a minimum of favorable conditions.
