| Resumen : | El presente estudio es de tipo descriptivo, transversal, prospectivo y tiene como objetivos: 1) Identificar el Síndrome de Desgaste Profesional en los docentes: 2) Determinar la presencia de Hipertensión Arterial en docentes con el Síndrome de Desgaste Profesional; 3) Establecer la asociación entre el Síndrome de Burnout y la Hipertensión Arterial; 4) Elaborar plan educativo para minimizar la presencia del Síndrome de Burnout. El universo lo conformó los 610 docentes de las tres instituciones educativas de la ciudad de Loja; la muestra fue de 139 docentes, tomando en consideración los criterios de inclusión y exclusión: docentes con ausencia del Síndrome de Burnout y docentes con HTA diagnosticados anteriormente. Se determinó la manifestación del Síndrome de Burnout a través de la aplicación del Test de desgaste profesional de Maslach y registro de presión arterial cuyos resultados determinaron que el Síndrome de Burnout se encuentra presente en el 55,38% de los docentes estudiados; la Hipertensión Arterial se manifestó en el 12,95% de los docentes con Síndrome de Burnout; se estableció que existe una asociación baja entre la Hipertensión Arterial desarrollada por un 12,95% de los docentes que fueron identificados con el 55,38% del Síndrome de Desgaste Profesional. Finalmente se deja elaborado el plan educativo con la finalidad de evaluar en futuras investigaciones el comportamiento del Síndrome asociado a la Hipertensión Arterial. | Descripción : | The present research is descriptive, transversal, prospective and aims to: 1) To identify the Job Burnout Syndrome of the teachers: 2) To determine the presence of Hypertension in teachers with the Job Burnout Syndrome; 3) To establish the relation between the Burnout Syndrome and Hypertension; 4) To develop an educational plan to minimize the presence of the burnout syndrome. The universe was formed by 610 teachers of three educational institutions in the city of Loja; the sample was formed by 139 teachers, taking into account the inclusion and exclusion criteria: teachers who do not present the burnout syndrome and teachers with hypertension previously diagnosed. The manifestation of the burnout syndrome was determined by applying the test of Maslach burnout and the blood pressure recording, which results determined that the burnout syndrome is present in 55.38% of the teachers surveyed, The hypertension was manifested in 12,95% of teachers with burnout síndrome; it was established that there is a low association, between the hypertension developed for 12,95% of the teachers who were identified with 55,38% of the job burnout síndrome.
