Resumen : La ciudad de Loja es conocida como la cuna del arte, la literatura y grandes cantautores o compositores que forman de la cultura popular de nuestro país. Así, estas narraciones se encuentran visibles en los mitos, cuentos y leyendas que son estudiados en esta investigación. Así, resaltan 13 cuentos mitos y leyendas que son populares entre la población lojana, ello construye la identidad cultural expresada en varios productos turísticos y estrategias que son el resultado del uso de la metodología design thinking. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo general: identificar los cuentos, mitos y leyendas, como parte de la tradición oral y su relevancia para el turismo de la ciudad de Loja; de la misma manera se estableció tres objetivos específicos: 1) Identificar los principales cuentos, mitos y leyendas de la ciudad de Loja, 2) Generar productos turísticos a partir de los mitos, cuentos y leyendas identificados, 3) Elaborar estrategias de posicionamiento de los productos turísticos diseñados. La metodología utilizada fue la siguiente, para el primer objetivo se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de los cuentos, mitos y leyendas de la ciudad, fichas de registro del INPC y entrevistas para conocer la situación actual de las tradiciones orales de Loja; para el segundo objetivo se utilizó la metodología Design Thinking bajo un focus group, el cual ayudó a determinar posibles soluciones a los problemas identificados, lo que permitió elaborar las propuestas y el diseño de los productos turísticos, para el tercer objetivo se realizaron estrategias de posicionamiento de los productos turísticos diseñados, tomando en cuenta actores tanto público como privados, que brinden mayor apoyo a las tradiciones orales de la ciudad. Así mismo, con los resultados obtenidos en el primer objetivo se procedió al diseño de la propuesta de los productos turísticos y estrategias que son visibles dentro del patrimonio cultural. Además, se participó con los actores turísticos y culturales, donde se construyó el bosquejo de varios productos turísticos finales, mismos que se seleccionaron de acuerdo a la información recopilada durante la primera etapa de la investigación. En el tercer objetivo se realizó la difusión de los productos turísticos diseñados mismos que generan un mayor alcance entre los turistas que desean participar de este tipo de actividad turístico cultural.
Descripción : The city of Loja is known as the cradle of art, literature, and great songwriters or composers that are part of the popular culture of our country. Accordingly, these narratives are visible in the myths, tales, and legends we studied in this research. Therefore, we highlighted 13 myths and legends popular among the Lojanos population, which build the cultural identity expressed in various tourism products and strategies brought about by implementing the design thinking methodology. The general objective of this research paperwork is; to identify the tales, myths, and legends as part of the oral tradition and their relevance for tourism in the City of Loja. In the same way, we established three specific objectives: 1. Identify the most foundational tales, myths, and legends of the city of Loja, and 2. Generate tourist products from the identified myths, tales, and legends, 3. Develop strategies for positioning the designed tourism products. The methodology used was as follows: for the first objective, we conducted a bibliographic review of the tales, myths, and legends of the city, INPC registry cards, and interviews to learn about the current situation of Loja's oral traditions; For the second objective, we used the Design Thinking methodology under a focus group, which helped to determine possible solutions to the problems identified, which allowed the development of proposals and the design of tourism products. For the third objective, we developed strategies for positioning the designed tourism products, taking into account both public and private actors, which provide additional support to the oral traditions of the city. Likewise, with the results obtained in the first objective, we proceeded to elaborate on the proposal of touristic products and strategies as they become visible within the cultural heritage. In addition, we participated with the touristic and cultural actors, where we constructed the outline of several final tourism products, which we selected according to the information gathered during the first stage of the research. The third objective was the promotion of the designed touristic products, which generate a greater reach among tourists who wish to participate in this type of cultural tourism activity.
