| Resumen : | La comunidad afro-descendiente del cantónCatamayoen la actualidad está viviendo una desvalorización cultural por diversos factores que en el trascurso de la investigación se han logrado evidenciar. La presente investigación se enmarcó en un estudio histórico, analítico-descriptivo y explicativo, para posteriormente desarrollar un foro- taller de valorización de la identidad cultural de Catamayo. Los métodos utilizados fueron el método histórico, estadístico, analítico-sintéticoy científico con la finalidad de relacionar el entorno colectivo con la identidad cultural del cantónCatamayo.Las técnicas que se utilizaron fueron la encuestay la entrevista, las mismas que se aplicaron a 35 personasde la”Asociación Afrodescendientes en Desarrollo socio-cultural Catamayo”.Al concluir este estudio investigativo se determinó que esta comunidad de gran relevancia del Cantón, no logra ocupar el sitial que le corresponde por su gran aporte en el ámbito económico, social y cultural, a pesar de los esfuerzos que esta Asociación realiza para hacer conocer sus raíces, asentamiento, costumbres, tradiciones gastronomía, música y danza. Cabe recalcar que por ser un pueblo alegre y dinámico, implementaroninstrumentos autóctonos y géneros musicales propios,que se han mezclado y fusionando hasta la actualidad con otras expresiones culturales,dando lugar a interpretaciones artísticas con el ritmo y algarabía características de este grupo étnico. Con esta presente investigación se quiere lograr despertar en la comunidad Catamayense la revalorización de la cultura afro-descendiente investigada, con el afán dedifundir y promocionarlas riquezas que posee para lograr atractivos turísticos y culturales en beneficio de la colectividad. Al concluir el estudio investigativo se recalca que el pueblo afro-ecuatoriano está en constante lucha por alcanzar un espacio dentro de esta sociedad, reforzando su espirito de pertenencia y defensa de su propia identidad y es deber de todos nosotros valorar su gran riqueza cultural. |
| Descripción : | The Afro-descendant Canton Catamayo community is currently experiencing a cultural devaluation by various factors in the course of the investigation has been made evident. This research was part of a historical, analytical-descriptive and explanatory study, to further develop a workshop forum- enhancing cultural identity Catamayo. The methods used were the historical, statistical, analytical-synthetic and scientific method in order to relate the collective environment to the cultural identity of the canton Catamayo. The techniques used were the survey and interview, the same as were applied to 35 people from the "Association of African Descent in sociocultural Catamayo Development". Upon completion of this research study determined that this community of great relevance Canton, does not occupy the place it deserves for his great contribution in the economic, social and cultural spheres, despite the efforts of this Association takes to make known their estate settlement, customs, traditions, cuisine, music and dance. It should be noted that being a lively and dynamic people, implemented indigenous instruments and own musical genres have been mixed and merging to the present with other cultural expressions, resulting in artistic performances with the rhythm and noise characteristics of this ethnic group. With this present investigation is to be achieved awakening in the community Catamayense the revaluation of the Afro culture investigated, with the aim of spreading and promoting the wealth that has to achieve cultural and tourist attractions for the benefit of the community.At the conclusion of the research study emphasizes that the Afro-Ecuadorian people is constantly striving to achieve a place in this society, strengthening their spirit of belonging and defense of their own identity and it is the duty of us all appreciate its cultural wealth. |
