Resumen :	Las infecciones de transmisión sexual constituyen un problema de salud pública, por las secuelas que producen y que solo se observa en ellas, como ejemplo la sífilis que produce graves complicaciones tardías que incluyen la neurosífilis, sífilis cardiovascular y la gonorrea que pueden producir enfermedad pélvica inflamatoria y aumentar el riesgo de embarazo ectópico. Con la realización de este trabajo se pretende abordar los conocimientos de los estudiantes acerca de las vías de transmisión y factores de riesgo de sífilis y gonorrea ya que se constituyen en un problema a nivel mundial. El tipo de investigación es de carácter prospectivo, descriptivo, transversal, que se lo realizó en los colegios “Adolfo Valarezo” y “La Salle” de la ciudad de Loja, el universo del presente estudio esta constituido por 300 estudiantes de segundo y tercero de bachillerato, la muestra fue de 194 alumnos; la recolección de datos se llevó a cabo a través de la encuesta, la misma que permitió determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre esta temática para la identificación de los riesgo a los que están expuestos los adolescentes. Luego de realizar el análisis e interpretación de los datos,concluimos que sí tienen conocimiento sobre los factores de riesgo y vías de transmisión de sífilis y gonorrea los estudiantes objeto de la presente investigación de acuerdo a la edad y sexo así: el 53% que corresponden al colegio Adolfo Valarezo y 57% corresponden al colegio la Salle, aunque existe un porcentaje de la población que no conocen el tema. La información obtenida por los estudiantes en relación al tema fue proporcionada mediante conferencias organizadas por los directivos de los colegios en el 22% del Adolfo Valarezo y el 21% de la Salle. Las vías de transmisión en relación a la edad y sexo indican: el 48% de los estudiantes del colegio Adolfo Valarezo y el 32% de los estudiantes del colegio la Salle al sexo sin preservativo como principal fuente de contagio; seguido de sexo oral 20% y 14%; y transfusiones sanguíneas 19% y 10%, respectivamente. Descripción :	The infections of sexual transmission constitute a problem of public health, for the sequels that take place and that alone it is observed in them, as example the syphilis that serious late complications that include the neurosífilis, cardiovascular syphilis and the gonorrhea that can produce inflammatory pelvic illness takes place and to increase the risk of pregnancy ectopic. With the realization of this work it is sought to approach the knowledge of the students since Preposition the transmission roads and factors of syphilis risk and gonorrhea they are constituted in a problem at world level. The investigation type is of prospective, descriptive, traverse character that was carried out it in the schools "Adolfo Valarezo" and "The you Leave him" of the city of Loja, the universe of the present study constituted by 300 second students and third of high school, the sample belonged to 194 students; the gathering of data was carried out through the survey, the same one that allowed to determine the level of knowledge on this thematic one for the identification from the risk to those that are exposed. After carrying out the analysis and interpretation of the data, we conclude that if they have knowledge on the factors of risk and roads of syphilis transmission and gonorrhea the students object of the present investigation according to the age and sex this way: 53% corresponds to the school Adolfo Valarezo and 57% they correspond to the school the you Leave him, although the population's percentage that you/they don't know the topic exists. The information obtained by the students in relation to the topic was provided by means of conferences organized by the directive of the schools in the Adolfo's 22% Valarezo and 21% of the you leave him.
