| Resumen : | La “OPTIMIZACIÓN DEL SISTEMA DE EXPLOTACIÓN PARA LA EXTRACCIÓN DE MATERIALES ÁRIDOS Y PÉTREOS EN EL ÁREA MINERA “EL HUATO”, CÓDIGO 600155, UBICADA EN LAS PARROQUIAS MALACATOS Y SAN PEDRO DE VILCABAMBA, CANTÓN Y PROVINCIA DE LOJA”, se elaboró mediante el diagnostico preliminar del área involucrada, realizando el reconocimiento de las actividades extractivas que actualmente se llevan a cabo en el área minera “El Huato”, fue fundamental conocer cada uno estos procesos ya que esto permitió determinar cuáles pueden ser objeto o no de optimización. Los materiales áridos y pétreos desde hace mucho tiempo son la materia prima fundamental en el desarrollo urbanístico y la construcción, siendo la oferta y la demanda de este tipo de recursos cada vez mayor. Existen muchos depósitos de estos materiales y están condicionados casi siempre por su topografía y geología que son factores fundamentales que se analizaron para el desarrollo del proyecto. Las características actuales del sistema de explotación no son las óptimas, ya que se realizan las operaciones extractivas en condiciones desfavorables dentro del cauce del rio y no se aprovecha todo el depósito de materiales de construcción; el objeto de este proyecto fue desarrollar una alternativa técnica económica que beneficie a la empresa mejorando las condiciones de trabajo, aumentando su producción y reduciendo los costos operativos, empleando el personal, maquinaria y equipos actualmente disponibles. El presentar una alternativa diferente a la actual y que ha sido evaluada técnica y económicamente sin desestimar el aspecto ambiental; no solo beneficia a la empresa sino que permitirá el equilibrio entre la actividad extractiva y el ambiente lo cual conlleva a la conservación del mismo, haciendo de este nuevo sistema de explotación una propuesta favorable para el desarrollo de las actividades de extracción. There are many deposits of these materials and are almost always conditioned by its topography and geology that are fundamental factors that were analyzed for the project. The current features of the operating system are not optimal, since mining operations are carried out under unfavorable conditions within the bed of the river and not the entire deposit of building materials is used; The object of this project was to develop an alternative economic technique that benefits the company by improving working conditions, increasing production and reducing operating costs using staff, machinery and equipment currently available. Presenting a different current alternative and has been evaluated technically and economically without underestimating the environmental aspect; not only benefits the company but will allow a balance between mining activity and the environment which leads to the conservation of the same, making this new operating system favorable for the development of mining activities proposed.
