| dc.description | The present investigation understands a study of transverse descriptive type whose objective was to determine the knowledge and practical preventive of ITS and HIV-AIDS in those/studying ace of first to third year of high school of the National School Adolfo Valarezo, Morning Section during the period of September 2009-February 2010. Of the 397 students of first to third year of high school, a sample of 157 adolescents was obtained, to which were applied a survey of 7 questions, you also interviews to the authorities and educational of the department of Vocational Orientation, with the purpose of knowing its participation in the promotion of the sexual health of its students, especially in the measures of prevention of ITS/VIH-AIDS. The intervention proposal could not be executed according to that programmed by lack of collaboration of the Authorities of the Institution, for what thought about as alternative to give Videos about basic information of ITS/VIH-AIDS, and a student guide, as material of bibliographical support for the education of those adolescent of the institution, with the purpose of strengthening the knowledge on the forms of prevention of ITS/VIH-AIDS. The obtained results show that those/ace students has general knowledge of infections of sexual transmission and HIV-AIDS, one of the conclusions to which you arrived, like form of good known prevention for those/ace adolescent, is the use of the preservative; for the before mentioned it is considered the young population in risk of being affected by the ITS/HIV-AIDS, the attitudes and the sexual behavior they can be amendable with the acquisition of positive knowledge. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación comprende un estudio de tipo descriptivo transversal cuyo Objetivo fue determinar los conocimientos y prácticas preventivas de ITS y VIH-SIDA en los/as estudiantes de Primer a Tercer Año de Bachillerato del Colegio Nacional Adolfo Valarezo, Sección Matutina durante el periodo de Septiembre 2009-Febrero 2010. De los 397 estudiantes de primer a tercer año de bachillerato, se obtuvo una muestra de 157 adolescentes, a los cuales se les aplicó una encuesta de 7 preguntas, además se encuestó a las Autoridades y Docentes del Departamento de Orientación Vocacional, con la finalidad de conocer su participación en la promoción de la salud sexual de sus estudiantes, especialmente en las medidas de prevención de ITS/VIH-SIDA. La propuesta de intervención no pudo ejecutarse según lo programado por falta de colaboración de las Autoridades de la Institución, por lo que se planteó como alternativa entregar Videos sobre información básica de ITS/VIH-SIDA, y, una Guía estudiantil como material de apoyo bibliográfico para la educación de los/as adolescentes de la Institución, con el propósito de fortalecer los conocimientos sobre las formas de prevención de ITS/VIH-SIDA. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que los/as estudiantes tienen conocimientos generales de ITS/VIH-SIDA, una de las conclusiones a las que se llegó, como forma de prevención más conocida por los/as adolescentes, es el uso del preservativo; por lo antes mencionado se considera a la población joven en riesgo de ser afectada por las ITS/VIH-SIDA, las actitudes y el comportamiento sexual pueden ser modificables con la adquisición de conocimientos positivos. | es_ES |
