| Resumen : | La producción avícola es una de las principales actividades más rentables y productivas en la industria en el mundo en este contexto, la alimentación es fundamental para promover crecimiento y salud en pollos de carne. Proporcionar fibra como parte integral de la dieta es crucial para entender su papel en el desarrollo del tracto gastrointestinal. El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar como las diferentes fuentes de fibra afectan los parámetros digestivos en pollos destinados a la producción de carne. Se emplearon 400 pollos de la línea Cobb 500, los cuales fueron criados hasta alcanzar los 26 días de edad, utilizando un diseño completamente aleatorio. Se evaluaron cuatro tratamientos: T1 (control), T2 inclusión de afrecho de trigo (18%), T3 cascarilla de arroz (18%) y T4 palmiste (18%) en las dietas. Las variables evaluadas fueron longitud, peso absoluto y relativo de órganos y secciones del tracto gastrointestinal, además pH de ciegos. Los datos se analizaron en el programa estadístico del procedimiento GML del SAS y para comparar media el T-test de Tukey. Los resultados indican que existe diferencia estadística solo para la variable de peso vivo (p=0.0017), pesos (p=0.0388) y longitudes absolutas (p=0.0277) de las secciones, y tendencia que se muestra en longitud absoluta del ciego izquierdo de (p=0.0686), no existiendo diferencia estadística en tracto digestivo total (p=0.3266) e intestino delgado (p=0.3621). Se evidencia que no existe diferencia significativa en pesos relativos (0.5154), longitudes relativas (p=0.2694) y pH (p=0.5477), a excepción de molleja donde existe diferencia estadística (p=0.0520). Se concluye que el uso diferentes fuentes de fibra no afecto los parámetros digestivos, sin embargo, se evidencio pesos y longitudes relativas mayores en los órganos del tracto digestivo del pollo con la inclusión de 18% de Afrecho de Trigo, Cascarilla de arroz y Palmiste. |
| Descripción : | Poultry production is one of the most profitable and productive major industry activities in the world and in this context, feeding is fundamental to promote growth and health in broiler chickens. Providing fiber as an integral part of the diet is crucial to understand its role in the development of the gastrointestinal tract. The objective of this study was to evaluate how different sources of fiber affect digestive parameters in broilers destined for meat production. Four hundred Cobb 500 broilers were raised to 26 days of age using a completely randomized design. Four treatments were evaluated: T1 (control), T2 inclusion of wheat bran (18%), T3 rice husk (18%) and T4 palm kernel (18%) in the diets. The variables evaluated were length, absolute and relative weight of organs and sections of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as pH of the cecum. The data were analyzed in the statistical program of the GML procedure of SAS and to compare means the Tukey's T-test. The results indicate that there is a statistical difference only for the variable of live weight (p=0.0017), weights (p=0.0388) and absolute lengths (p=0.0277) of the sections, and a tendency that is shown in absolute length of the left cecum (p=0.0686), with no statistical difference in total digestive tract (p=0.3266) and small intestine (p=0.3621). There is no significant difference in relative weights (p=0.5154), relative lengths (p=0.2694) and pH (p=0.5477), with the exception of the gizzard where there is a statistical difference (p=0.0520). It is concluded that the use of different sources of fiber did not affect the digestive parameters, however, there was evidence of higher relative weights and lengths in the organs of the digestive tract of the chicken with the inclusion of 18% wheat bran, rice husk and palm kernel. |
