| dc.description | The ability to formulate questions for research purposes is a fundamental skill and first step in the development of research projects that allows to clearly establish the problem to be solved keeping focused the purpose to investigate, it is a tool that distinguishes university professors committed to academic development and educational excellence, its importance lies in that it serves as a working model that guides research. The present work analyzes how questioning skills are developed by the faculty of the Faculty of Law, Social and Administrative Sciences of the National University of Loja, in the context of the formulation of the research project. The methodological process integrates qualitative and quantitative methods, the research approach is descriptive and the technique and instruments applied are questionnaire, interview and bibliographic record. The results obtained help to understand that teachers show strengths in the ability to ask questions for research purposes, especially in the generation of scientific questions and the correlation of variables, but there are areas for improvement, such as the effective identification of the research topic and attention to the validation and refinement of questions. Finally, the study concludes in knowing the predisposition of the population for the use of open questions and scaffolding in their methodological practice, which suggests opportunities to improve the quality and relevance of the questions asked and to strengthen the dynamics of the development of research skills that result in suitable research that achieves the objectives and expected results. | dc.description.abstract | La habilidad de formular preguntas con fines de investigación es una destreza fundamental y primer paso en el desarrollo de proyectos de investigación que permite establecer claramente el problema a resolver manteniendo enfocado el propósito a investigar, constituye una herramienta que distingue a los profesores universitarios comprometidos con el desarrollo académico y la excelencia educativa, su importancia radica en que sirve como modelo de trabajo que guía la investigación. El presente trabajo analiza cómo se desarrollan las habilidades de preguntar por parte del Profesorado de la Facultad Jurídica, Social y Administrativa de la Universidad Nacional de Loja, en el contexto de la formulación del proyecto de investigación. El proceso metodológico integra métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos, el enfoque de investigación es de tipo descriptiva y la técnica e instrumentos aplicados son cuestionario, entrevista y ficha bibliográfica. Los resultados obtenidos ayudan a comprender que los docentes muestran fortalezas en la habilidad de hacer preguntas con fines de investigación, especialmente en la generación de preguntas científicas y la correlación de variables, pero hay áreas de mejora, como la identificación efectiva del tema de investigación y la atención a la validación y refinamiento de preguntas. Finalmente, el estudio concluye en conocer la predisposición de la población por el uso de preguntas abiertas y andamiajes en su práctica metodológica lo que sugiere oportunidades para mejorar la calidad y relevancia de las preguntas formuladas y fortalecer la dinámica del desarrollo de las habilidades investigativas que dan como resultado investigaciones aptas que alcancen los objetivos y resultados esperados.
