| dc.description | This research entitled: SELF-ESTEEM AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE ACQUISITION OF SOCIAL SKILLS FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES ATTENDING THE INTERNAL VISUAL INSTITUTE OF BYRON EGUIGUREN Loja. PERIOD 2014-2015; As general objective was: To determine the influence of self-esteem in the acquisition of social skills in children with visual impairment attending the Institute Eguiguren Byron Loja. Methods used in the Investigation Were: Scientist, Analytical - synthetic, inductive - deductive and statistical That allowed for discussion and contrasting proposals variables. The test Coopersmith Self-Esteem Questionnaire Evaluation of Social Skills Intended for Students investigated in particular the: Two instruments were applied. He worked with a sample of 9 Children with Visual Impairment Byron internal Eguiguren Institute. After analyzing the results it is concluded that the majority of children have a low level of self-esteem; and that the main difficulties that occur in social skills. Finally, it is recommended to the Authorities and teachers organize workshops, courses and seminars for teachers on how to stimulate self-esteem and for people with visual disabilities. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación denominada: LA AUTOESTIMA Y SU INFLUENCIA EN LA ADQUISICIÓN DE HABILIDADES SOCIALES DE LOS NIÑOS Y NIÑAS INTERNOS CON DISCAPACIDAD VISUAL QUE ASISTEN AL INSTITUTO BYRON EGUIGUREN DE LA CIUDAD DE LOJA. PERIODO 2014-2015; tuvo como objetivo general: Conocer la influencia que tiene la autoestima en la adquisición de habilidades sociales en los niños con discapacidad visual que asisten al Instituto Byron Eguiguren de la ciudad de Loja. Los métodos utilizados en la investigación fueron: Científico, Analítico - sintético, Inductivo - deductivo y Estadístico que permitieron realizar la discusión y contrastación de las variables propuestas. Se aplicaron dos instrumentos: El test de autoestima de Coopersmith el Cuestionario de Evaluación de Habilidades Sociales dirigido a los alumnos investigados en forma individual. Se trabajó con una muestra de 9 niños y niñas con Discapacidad Visual internos del Instituto Byron Eguiguren. Luego de analizar los resultados se concluye que la mayoría de los niños y niñas presentan un nivel de autoestima baja; y que, las principales dificultades que presentan en las habilidades sociales. Finalmente, se recomienda, a las Autoridades y docentes organizar talleres, cursos y seminarios dirigidos a los docentes sobre el autoestima y como estimularla en las personas con discapacidad visual. | es_ES |
