| dc.description | The present study proposes to elaborate a land use plan for the irrigated area of the Campana system-Malacatos, allowing to analyze the main variables that sustain this plan for which was carried the characterization and territorial diagnosis out through the socioeconomic components and biophysical. Taking as scenario the irrigation area of the "Campana system-Malacatos", located in the Canton and Province of Loja. Based on existing information plus the generation of information obtained in the field, and with the use of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) the land use plan is proposed. The first stage consists of the collection of information, the sampling that was carried out in the irrigation area, allowed to carry out the integral diagnosis and later elaborate the plan of land use. The variables analyzed were: depth, texture, pH, slope, temperature, precipitation, vegetation cover, current use, accessibility and additionally an agro-productive diagnosis was made. In the second stage, the processing of the information was carried out, which allowed the agro ecological zoning of the irrigation area of the Campana system-Malacatos, and preparation of the land use plan, through the following methodological process: identification of the potential use or preliminary zoning based on the analysis of soil potential, slopes, depth, texture and pH. Subsequently, the current use of the soil was evaluated, through the analysis of the vegetation cover and analyzed through aerial photos and verified by field trips, to then overlap with information on the potential use and obtain conflicts of land use. Next, the accessibility of the irrigation area was analyzed, when crossing it with the mapped information of conflicts the Agro ecological Zoning is defined and with its interpretation, the generation of the map of the land use plan. From this resulting zoning, three categories of land use were obtained: 1. Protection zone and agricultural production, 2. Fruit production area and 3. Area dedicated to the production of short cycle crops and with the classification of these categories of crops. | dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio plantea elaborar un plan de uso del suelo para la zona de riego del sistema Campana-Malacatos, permitiendo analizar las principales variables que sustentan este plan para lo cual se realizó la caracterización y diagnostico territorial a través de los componentes socioeconómicos y biofísicos. Teniendo como escenario el área de riego del sistema "Campana-Malacatos", situada en el Cantón y Provincia de Loja. Tomando como base, información existente más la generación de información obtenida en campo, y con la utilización de los SIG (Sistemas de Información Geográfico) se plantea el plan de uso del suelo. La primera etapa consta de la recolección de información, el muestreo que se llevó a cabo en el área de riego, permitió realizar el diagnóstico integral y posteriormente elaborar el plan de uso del suelo. Las variables analizadas fueron: profundidad, textura, pH, pendiente, temperatura, precipitación, cobertura vegetal, uso actual, accesibilidad y adicionalmente se realizó un diagnóstico agro-productivo. En la segunda etapa, se llevó acabo el procesamiento de la información, misma que permitió la zonificación agroecológica del área de riego del sistema Campana-Malacatos, y elaboración del plan de uso del suelo, mediante el siguiente proceso metodológico: identificación del uso potencial o zonificación preliminar en base al análisis de la potencialidad del suelo, pendientes, profundidad, textura y pH. Posteriormente se evaluó el uso actual del suelo, mediante el análisis de la cobertura vegetal y analizada a través fotos aéreas y verificadas mediante salidas de campo, para sobreponer seguidamente con información del uso potencial y obtener los conflictos de uso del suelo. Seguidamente se analizó la accesibilidad del área de riego, al cruzarla con la información mapeada de conflictos se define la Zonificación Agroecológica y con su interpretación, la generación del mapa del plan de uso del suelo. De esta zonificación resultante se obtuvieron tres categorías de uso del suelo: 1. Zona de protección y producción agrícola, 2. Zona de producción de frutales y 3. Zona dedicada a la producción de cultivos de ciclo corto y con la clasificación de estas categorías de suelo se formularon tres proyectos inmersos en la propuesta de mejoramiento de la producción agropecuaria. | es_ES |
