| dc.description | The research was carried out in the framework of a descriptive, qualitative-quantitative, relational, analytical, cross-sectional study, the population was 167 students, however the sample was 123 boys and girls of the school of basic education “IV Centenario” ranging in age from 7 to 12 years old who belonged to nuclear and single-parent families. For the collection of data a semi-structured interview about the family was used, the same that allowed to determine the type of family that the students belong to, the Physical and Verbal Aggression Scale was also used, to detect the existence of aggressive behavior, in addition, the cross-valuation table was used to analyze the relation of the nuclear and single-parent families with the aggressive behavior. Once the instruments were applied it has been possible to reflect in the results that there is predominance of the nuclear family in front of the single-parent family; as was also found that there is a relation between the type of family and the presence of aggressive behavior, it should be mentioned that the single-parent family presents a higher number of aggressive behavior cases compared to the nuclear family; in addition, aggressiveness is more frequent in boys than in girls. Having knowledge about the existing problem, a plan of psychotherapeutic intervention of individual, familiar and psychopedagogical type was made, all this in order to improve the family relations between the members of the family, maintain a good communication, try to eliminate or reduce aggressive behaviors so that a good school environment is maintained with classmates and teachers. | dc.description.abstract | La investigación se desarrolló dentro del marco de un estudio de tipo descriptivo, cuali-cuantitativo, relacional, analítico y de corte transversal, la población fue de 167 estudiantes, sin embargo la muestra fue de 123 niños y niñas de la escuela de educación básica IV centenario en edades comprendidas de 7 a 12 años de edad que pertenecían a familias nucleares y monoparentales. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó una entrevista semiestructurada sobre la familia, la que permitió determinar el tipo de familia al que pertenecían los estudiantes, también se utilizó la escala de agresividad física y verbal (AFV), para detectar la existencia de comportamiento agresivo, además se utilizó la tabla de valores cruzados para poder analizar la relación de la familia nuclear y monoparental con el comportamiento agresivo. Una vez aplicados los instrumentos se ha podido reflejar en los resultados que existe predominancia de la familia nuclear frente a la familia monoparental; así como también se encontró que existe relación entre el tipo de familia y la presencia de comportamiento agresivo, cabe mencionar que la familia monoparental presenta mayor número de casos de comportamiento agresivo comparada con la familia nuclear; además que la agresividad es más frecuente en niños que en niñas. Al tener conocimiento sobre la problemática existente se realizó un plan de intervención psicoterapéutico de tipo individual, familiar y psicopedagógico, todo esto con el fin de mejorar las relaciones familiares entre los miembros de la familia, mantener una buena comunicación, tratar de eliminar o reducir los comportamientos agresivos para que se mantenga un buen ambiente escolar con los compañeros y maestros.
