| dc.description | This descriptive study investigated the use of creative activities in the improvement of the speaking skill with third year students at “Luis Humberto Benitez Costa” school. A twelve-session intervention plan was implemented. Researcher’s-made test and questionnaires were designed and used to measure the ten students’ progress and perception of creative activities use. Additional instruments like observation guide, field diary, and checklist were also used every session to see the students’ growth. The results indicated that the use of creative activities facilitated the meaningfully improvement of the speaking skill which was reflected in the posttest scores and students’ progress during the intervention. To conclude, this study helped the students to improve their speaking skill, the researcher to sharpen her teaching skills and the community to have a well-prepared candidate teacher. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Este estudio descriptivo investigó el uso de actividades creativas en el mejoramiento de la habilidad de hablar con estudiantes del tercer año de la escuela "Luis Humberto Benítez Costa". Se diseñó un plan de intervención de doce sesiones. También Pruebas y cuestionario hechas por el investigador, utilizados para medir el progreso y la percepción del uso de las actividades creativas en los estudiantes. La guía de observación, diario de campo, y lista de verificación se utilizaron en cada sesión para verificar el desarrollo en los estudiantes. Los resultados indicaron que las actividades creativas facilitaron significativamente el mejoramiento de la habilidad de hablar lo cual fue reflejado en el puntaje de la posterior prueba y durante la intervención. En conclusión, este estudio ayudó a los estudiantes a mejorar su habilidad de hablar, al investigador de afinar sus habilidades de enseñanza y a la comunidad para tener un maestro bien preparado. | es_ES |
