| Resumen : | El presente estudio titulado “PREVALENCIA DE APIÑAMIENTO DENTARIO EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DE GENERO MASCULINO Y FEMENINO, DE 18 A 30 AÑOS EDAD, DE LA UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE LOJA, MODALIDAD PRESENCIAL, PERIODO MAYO-JULIO DEL 2014”, está enmarcado en el macro-proyecto titulado “VALORACIÓN INTEGRAL DEL ESTADO DE SALUD BUCODENTAL DE LOS y LAS ESTUDIANTES DE LA UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE LOJA DE LA MODALIDAD DE ESTUDIOS PRESENCIAL”, que busca contribuir a determinar el estado de salud bucodental y principales patologías del sistema estomatognático, en los estudiantes de la modalidad presencial de la Universidad Nacional de Loja, para mejorar la salud bucodental como parte de la salud integral y el bienestar de los mismos, aportando con datos estadísticos; los mismos que permitirán elaborar estrategias para el mantenimiento y mejoramiento de la salud oral. Los objetivos planteados fueron, determinar la prevalencia de apiñamiento dentario, según género masculino y femenino, rangos de edad, en el sector anterior y posterior. La prevalencia del apiñamiento dentario en los estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional de Loja es del 48,21%, mientras que según el género femenino el apiñamiento dentario es del 45,21% y en el género masculino es del 51,36%, en tanto que según el rango de edad en pacientes de 18-24 años presentan 88.16% y en pacientes de 25-30 años el 11,84%, en el sector anterior con un 79%, en el secttor posterior con un10% y anterior/posterior 11%. |
| Descripción : | Thisstudy Entitled "prevalence crowding DENTAL STUDENTS IN GENDER MALE AND FEMALE, 18 TO 30 YEARSA GE, NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF Loja, FACE TYPE, PERIOD MAY- JULY 2014" is framed in macro project Entitled" COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION of Oral STATEMENT of The Students and National University of Loja MODE of HEALTH STUDIES CLASSROOM" that seeks to determine the status of oral health and major diseases of the stomatognathic system, the modality students of the National University of Loja, Improving oral health as part of overall lhealth and wellbeing of the same, providing statistical data; allow them to Develop strategies for Maintaining and Improving oral health. Were Planted objectives To determine the prevalence of to dental crowding, identify by gender prevalence of dental crowding, prevalence of dental crowding by age group (18-24, 25-30) and to Establish the prevalence of dental crowding by industry(earlier or later). The prevalence of dental crowding in the students of the National University of Lojais48.21% while the female gender as the dental crowding is 45.21% and in males is 51.36%, while that according to the age range of 18-24 years the patients presented 88.16%, in patients with 25-30 years with 11.84%, in the anterior section with 79 in the back secction with10% and finally in the front/back secction with 11%. |
