| Resumen : | El presente trabajo investigativo denominado “ESTUDIO COMPARATIVO ENTRE ECO OBSTÉTRICO, MEDICIÓN MANUAL DE LA ALTURA DEL FONDO UTERINO (AFU) Y FECHA DE LA ÚLTIMA MENSTRUACIÓN (FUM) EN LA DETERMINACIÓN DE LA EDAD GESTACIONAL EN MUJERES MULTÍPARAS QUE CURSAN CON EMBARAZO DE 12-36 SEMANAS GESTACIONALES HOSPITALIZADAS EN EL ÁREA DE GINECO-OBSTETRICIA DEL HOSPITAL REGIONAL ISIDRO AYORA” EN EL PERIODO ENERO-JULIO DE 2014, es de tipo cuantitativo, prospectivo de corte transversal; la muestra fue de 60 pacientes; los objetivos fueron determinar la diferencia de semanas gestacionales entre ecografía obstétrica, altura de fondo uterino y la fecha de última menstruación; así como también determinar la sensibilidad; establecer el grado de correlación entre cada uno de estos métodos, tomando como referencia la fecha de última menstruación confiable. Los datos se procesaron mediante el programa Excel 2010, los resultados fueron: la variación de edad gestacional entre la fecha de última menstruación y altura de fondo uterino es de ± 2 semanas gestacionales en el 60 %, mientras que entre la fecha de última menstruación y la valoración mediante ecografía obstétrica es de ± 2 semanas gestacionales en el 86.6 %. La sensibilidad de la altura de fondo uterino es de 60%, en comparación con la ecografía obstétrica que tiene 86 % en la determinación de la edad gestacional. La correlación en la determinación de la edad gestacional entre la altura de fondo uterino y la ecografía obstétrica en el segundo trimestre es de 0.78, en tanto que en el tercero es de 0.32. La correlación en el segundo trimestre entre la fecha de última menstruación y la altura de fondo uterino es de 0.83, entre la fecha de última menstruación y ecografía obstétrica la correlación es de 0.94. The sample was made to 60 patients and the objectives were to determine the differences between gestational weeks obstetrical ultrasound, fundus height and date of last menstrual period, as well as their sensitivity, found of degree the correlation between each other of these methods, taking as reference the date of last menstruation dependable.
