| Resumen : | Amamantar no duele y es placentero para la madre y el niño. Una buena posición durante la lactancia materna ayuda al bebé a mantener un estímulo adecuado para alcanzar una buena producción de leche, de igual manera la madre no sentirá ninguna sensación dolorosa y ambos disfrutaran de la lactancia. Para el desarrollo de la presente investigación, se planteó como objetivo general; identificar los conocimientos y prácticas sobre las diferentes posiciones durante la lactancia materna en madres que acuden al programa Creciendo con Nuestros Hijos del barrio San Francisco de la ciudad de Loja. El método empleado fue de tipo descriptivo y el universo lo constituyeron 54 madres. Para la recolección de datos se aplicó encuestas con la finalidad de recoger información que dé cumplimiento a los objetivos planteados. Los resultados indicaron, que las únicas posiciones de amamantamiento conocidas por las madres fueron: la posición sentada y acostada, cabe recalcar que las posiciones para la lactancia materna están referidas desde la postura que adopta la madre y el niño, de forma similar las madres mantienen una buena práctica en cuanto a las posiciones conocidas por ellas lo cual puede deberse a que brindan mayor comodidad. De igual manera las madres conocen y observan prácticas adecuadas en cuanto al apego, colocación de la mano en forma de C y agarre del seno por parte del bebé. | Descripción : | To nurse does not hurt and it is pleasant for the mother and the child. A good position during the breast feeding helps the baby to keep a stimulus adapted to reach a good production of milk, of equal way the mother will not feel any painful sensation and both will enjoy the lactation. For the development of the present investigation, it appeared like general target; to identify the knowledge and practices on the different positions during the breast feeding in mothers who come to the program Growing with Our Children of the quarter San Francisco of the city of Loja. The used method was of descriptive type and 54 mothers constituted the universe. For the information compilation surveys were applied for the purpose of gathering information that gives fulfillment to the raised targets. The results indicated, that the only positions of breast-feeding known by the mothers were: the seated and stretched out position, it is necessary to stress that the positions for the breast feeding are recounted from the position that the mother and the child adopts, of similar form the mothers maintain a good practice as for the positions known by them which can be due to the fact that they offer major serviceability. Of equal way the mothers know and observe practices adapted as for the fidelity, laying of the hand in the shape of C and grip of the bosom on the part of the baby.
