| Resumen : | Se realizó un estudio de tipo descriptivo y de corte trasversal en estudiantes del colegio “MANUEL CABRERA LOZANO” EXTENSIÓN MOTUPE SECCION MATUTINA con el objetivo de identificar sus conocimentos y practicas preventivas de ITS-VIH/SIDA, asi mismo conocer la participación de la institución educativa en la promocion de la salud sexual de los estudiantes. Posteriormente se organizo una propuesta de intervencion que oriento a los adolescentes al autocuidado de su salud sexual. La muestra estuvo conformado por 298 estudiantes a los que se aplico una encuesta, como técnica para recabar información, cuyo objetivo fue identificar los conocimientos y prácticas preventivas ITS-VIH/SIDA, asi mismo la entrevista aplicada al Coordinador de la Institucion y Docente de Orientacion Vocacional cuyo proposito fue conocer la participacion de la unidad educativa en la orientacion de la salud sexual de los estudiantes. Las dos tecnicas utilizadas son instrumentos que permiten cumplir los objetivos propuestos en la investigacion. Los resultados del estudio indican que el 59,04% del sexo masculino y un 67% de sexo femenino conocen sobre las ITS Y VIH/SIDA, asi tambien de la entrevista realizada al Coordinador y Docente de Orientacion Vocacional se concluye que la Institucion en estudio incluye temas de educacion sexual en la asignatura de Orientacion Vocacional, la cual se dicta una hora semanal a los estudiantes con la finalidad de brindarles educacion sobre conocimientos y practicas de prevención de ITS Y VIH/SIDA. |

The two used techniques are instruments that allow to complete the objectives proposed in the investigation.
