| Resumen : | La sexualidad juega un papel clave junto a la salud reproductiva, esta última destaca el disfrute de una vida sexual satisfactoria sin riesgos de procrear, y con la libertad para decidir hacerlo o no. Estudios en Latinoamérica demuestran la falta de conocimientos en salud sexual y reproductiva entre los adolescentes, sin embargo, muchos de ellos comienzan su actividad sexual a edades tempranas. Este estudio tuvo como objetivos la caracterización sociodemográfica de los estudiantes de Tercero de Bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional Daniel Álvarez Burneo, la identificación del nivel de conocimientos sobre salud sexual y reproductiva y el diseño de una estrategia educativa durante el periodo académico octubre 2022 – marzo 2023. Para esto se desarrolló una investigación cuantitativa, descriptiva, transversal, se aplicó una encuesta que recogió información sociodemográfica y otra sobre el nivel de conocimientos en salud sexual y reproductiva junto a un test para la medición de actitudes sexuales. Participaron 292 estudiantes, el 56,5 % corresponde al sexo femenino, el 90,1 % tienen edades entre 16 y 17 años, el 98,6 % son mestizos, el 26 % de adolescentes son sexualmente activos, el 16,1 % inició su vida sexual a los 15 años, el 1 % son homosexuales; el 87,3 % tiene un conocimiento alto sobre salud sexual y reproductiva y el 95,9 % tienen una actitud favorable sobre la sexualidad. | Descripción : | Sexuality plays a key role along with reproductive health, the latter highlighting the enjoyment of a satisfactory sexual life without the risks of procreating, and with the freedom to decide to do so or not. Studies in Latin America demonstrate the lack of knowledge in sexual and reproductive health among adolescents; however, many of them begin their sexual activity at an early age. This study had as objectives the sociodemographic characterization of the Third Year Baccalaureate students of the Daniel Álvarez Burneo Fiscomisional Educational Unit, the identification of the level of knowledge about sexual and reproductive health and the design of an educational strategy during the academic period October 2022 - March 2023. For this, a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional research was developed, a survey was applied that collected sociodemographic information and another on the level of knowledge in sexual and reproductive health along with a test to measure sexual attitudes. 292 students participated, 56.5% were female, 90.1% were between 16 and 17 years old, 98.6% were mixed race, 26% were sexually active, 16.1% started their sexual life at 15 years old, 1% are homosexual; 87.3% have high knowledge about sexual and reproductive health and 95.9% have a favorable attitude about sexuality.
