| Resumen : | El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “CALIDAD DE VIDA E INCLUSIÓN SOCIAL DE LAS PERSONAS CON DISCAPACIDAD INTELECTUAL PERTENECIENTES AL PROYECTO DEL GAD MUNICIPAL DE BALSAS Y LA INTERVENCIÓN DEL TRABAJADOR SOCIAL” está enfocado a determinar la calidad de vida de las personas con discapacidad intelectual en relación a la inclusión social; con la finalidad de contribuir con una propuesta de intervención social que permita promover su participación e independencia mediante la realización de talleres, charlas y capacitaciones que involucren a los principales actores sociales. Los objetivos específicos que se plantearon permitieron caracterizar la calidad de vida de las personas con discapacidad intelectual, identificando el nivel de inclusión social, así también se analizó la información obtenida y se diseñó una propuesta de intervención social que responde al objetivo general de la investigación. En relación a la metodología, se utilizó el método científico apoyado en los métodos inductivo, deductivo, analítico y sintético. Así mismo se utilizaron técnicas como la observación, entrevista y encuesta, y herramientas como la escala Gencat; mismas que fueron necesarias para la recopilación de información referente a la calidad de vida e inclusión social y dar cumplimiento a los objetivos planteados en la investigación. Los principales hallazgos demuestran que las personas con discapacidad intelectual tienen un bajo nivel de inclusión social debido a diversos factores como la poca participación e integración en la sociedad, falta de accesibilidad al empleo, educación y lugares de recreación, poco apoyo por parte del Estado y barreras actitudinales existentes (prejuicios y estereotipos); lo que afecta en gran medida su calidad de vida, tal como se determinó mediante la aplicación de la escala Gencat, donde se denota bajos índices en las distintas dimensiones también ocasionado por otros factores como escasos recursos económicos, dependencia, 3 vulneración de derechos, poca, relaciones sociales deficientes y actitud sobreprotectora de la familia. |
| Descripción : | This research work entitled "QUALITY OF LIFE AND SOCIAL INCLUSION OF PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES BELONGING TO THE PROJECT OF THE MUNICIPAL BALSAS GAD AND THE INTERVENTION OF THE SOCIAL WORKER" is focused on determining the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities in relation to to social inclusion; with the aim of contributing with a proposal for social intervention to promote their participation and independence through workshops, talks and trainings that involve the main social actors. The specific objectives that were set allowed to characterize the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities, identifying the level of social inclusion, thus the information obtained was also analyzed and a proposal for social intervention that responds to the general objective of the research was designed. Regarding the methodology, the scientific method supported by the inductive, deductive, analytical and synthetic methods was used. Likewise, techniques such as observation, interview and survey, and tools such as the Gencat scale were used; They were necessary for the compilation of information regarding quality of life and social inclusion and fulfill the objectives set out in the research. The main findings demonstrate that people with intellectual disabilities have a low level of social inclusion due to various factors such as low participation and integration in society, lack of accessibility to employment, education and recreation places, little support from the State and existing attitudinal barriers (prejudices and stereotypes); which greatly affects their quality of life, as determined through the application of the Gencat scale, where low indices are denoted in the different dimensions also caused by other factors such as scarce economic resources, dependency, violation of rights, little, Poor social relations and overprotective attitude of the family. |
