| Resumen : | El presente trabajo investigativo sobre “EL SÍNDROME DE DOWN Y SU INCIDENCIA EN LA INTERACCIÓN SOCIAL DE LOS NIÑOS Y NIÑAS DE 4 A 5 AÑOS DEL INSTITUTO DE EDUCACIÓN ESPECIAL AMBATO, DE LA CIUDAD DE AMBATO, DURANTE EL PERÍODO LECTIVO 2014 – 2015, LINEAMIENTOS PROPOSITIVOS.” Esta investigación ha sido realizada en el Instituto de Educación Especial Ambato que se encuentra ubicado en el cantón Ambato, sector Verdeloma, calles Verdeloma y Montes del Cajas, con vistas a tomar conciencia de lo importante que es la Interacción Social en la vida de los niños y niñas de 4 a 5 años con Síndrome de Down y de los elementos que actúan en su área afectiva. El problema científico está relacionado con el Síndrome de Down y su incidencia en la Interacción Social de los niños y niñas de 4 a 5 años. El objetivo general que se planteó en este trabajo investigativo fue: establecer cómo el Síndrome de Down incide en la interacción social y en el proceso educativo de los niños y niñas de 4 a 5 años del Instituto de Educación Especial Ambato. Los métodos empleados que permitieron guiar todo el proceso investigativo son: científico, deductivo, inductivo, descriptivo y modelo estadístico. Las técnicas utilizadas para este fin fueron: Una encuesta aplicada al personal docente del Instituto de Educación Especial Ambato para conocer la estimulación que dan en edades tempranas para una correcta interacción social de los niños y niñas con Síndrome de Down. Otra encuesta aplicada a los padres de familia con la finalidad de obtener información relacionada al área social de sus hijos. La Ficha de Observación aplicada a los niños y niñas con Síndrome de Down para recolectar información sobre la interacción de los niños y niñas con Síndrome de Down. De la aplicación de la encuesta el 67% del personal docente no está preparado en la aplicación de planes estratégicos de enseñanza- aprendizaje que favorezca la Interacción Social de los niños y niñas con su entorno social inmediato frente a un 33% que dice si estarlo. En relación a los resultados de la encuesta aplicada a los padres de familia el 100% ve una mejoría en el área social de sus hijos e hijas desde que asisten al Instituto, considerando un 100% de ellos que el comportamiento de los niños/as se debe también a como son tratados por las personas que los rodean. De la Ficha de Observación realizada a los niños y niñas se obtuvo como resultado que un 75% de ellos mantiene una correcta interacción con las personas de su entorno, con tan solo un 25% que no lo hace correctamente. |
| Descripción : | This research work is about “EL SÍNDROME DE DOWN Y SU INCIDENCIA EN LA INTERACCIÓN SOCIAL DE LOS NIÑOS Y NIÑAS DE 4 A 5 AÑOS DEL INSTITUTO DE EDUCACIÓN ESPECIAL AMBATO DE LA CIUDAD DE AMBATO DURANTE EL PERIODO LECTIVO 2014 – 2015." This research has been conducted at the Institute of Special Education Ambato which is located in Cantón Ambato, Verdeloma sector and streets Verdeloma and Montes del Cajas, in order to become aware of the importance of Social Interaction in children´s lives from 4 to 5 years old with Down Syndrome and the elements acting on their affective area. The scientific problem is related to Down Syndrome and its impact on the Social Interaction of children of 4-5 years. The overall objective of this research work is related to establishing how Down Syndrome affects Social Interaction and in the educative process of children of 4-5 years from the Institute of Special Education Ambato for which was taken a sample of 30 people between teachers, parents and children. The methods applied, allowed me to guide the entire research process including: scientific, deductive, inductive, descriptive and statistical. The techniques used for this purpose were observation and survey which could get the required information reached the following conclusions: A successful Social Interaction of children with Down Syndrome is mainly based on the motivation and stimulation they receive at home together with guidance provided by the staff of the Institute, which does not take fully because the teachers are not prepared to 100% decided in the implementation of strategic plans of teaching –learning process that promotes Social Interaction of children with their immediate social environment and parents do not have full knowledge about what Down Syndrome is and this causes can not be an active part of the process of adaptation and socialization of their children. From the application poll the 67% of the teaching staff is not ready in the use of strategic plansof teaching-learning that favours the Social Interaction of the children with immediate social environment compared to 33% who say if I be In relation to the applied poll's results to the familty parents 100% see an improvement in the social area to their daughters and sons since they attend to the Institute, concidering that a 100% of them, that the children's behavior is due to they are treated by the pearsons around them too. From the observation techniques did to the children it was had as a result that a 75% from them keep a right interaction with the persons of their environment, with all of this only a 25% that do not do things right. |
